Florida College is seeking a Sports Information Director  for the Athletics Program to support the Director of Athletics in managing all intercollegiate athletics programs at Florida College. The Sports Information Director oversees the various administrative functions associated with being members of the Continental Athletic Conference and the NAIA. The Sports Information Director helps to enhance Florida College’s reputation and brand with all audiences while furthering the college’s mission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Athletics in administering all national athletic association (NAIA) and conference (CAC) matters including compliance to rules, eligibility of athletes, and represent Florida College at all necessary meetings.
• Collaborate with administration to plan and execute athletic scholarship programming to meet athletic recruiting and discount/net-tuition revenue goals.
• Help manage the athletic department budget with guidance and approval from the Athletic Director.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director to develop sponsorship opportunities to support athletic department needs.
• Oversee the game day experience by personally leading or delegating home contest leadership for all sports, including scheduling, arranging for set-up, scheduling officials, athletic trainers, ticket takers, etc.
• Assist the Athletic Director in use of all athletic facilities in collaboration with Florida College’s facility departments.
• Ensure that all details associated with the arrangements for team travel, lodging and food are executed either directly or through delegation.
• Coordinate athletic insurance requirements for students including but not limited to injury claims and insurance verification.
• Manage athletics social media and athletics website and inter-team communications about rosters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of athletics, athletic programs, and physical fitness.
• Coordination and organization skills with respect to arranging a schedule for all athletic teams, including managing tournaments.
• Administrative skills are necessary for administering a budget and administering eligibility requirements.
• Computer skills, including spreadsheets for budget and athletic statistics.
• Verbal and written communication skills to well represent the athletics program.
• Availability to work some evenings and weekends planned well in advance.

Florida College seeks an Associate Vice President of Operations to lead all aspects of the Facilities Management and Auxiliary Services at Florida College, including oversight of dining, mailroom, bookstore, and book publishing services. Reporting to the president, the Associate Vice President of Operations is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, collaboratively leading the current physical plant operations and business services of the college, including the building facilities and third-party managed services of the College and the K-12 Florida College Academy. In addition to leading maintenance of current physical spaces and business services, the Associate Vice President of Operations leads project planning and management for building renovation and new construction projects on campus according to the College’s Campus Master Plan.  The Associate Vice President of Operations facilities partnerships with architectural and construction firms and maintains conversation and compliance with governmental offices overseeing building codes and permits. The Associate Vice President of Operations leads coordination with the finance and advancement divisions of the College to assure that projects are on budget and on schedule whenever possible.

In addition to providing needed operational and management support, the Associate Vice President of Operations will stay abreast of current and potential developments in the education marketplace by proactively collaborating across the different divisions of the college, as well as the broader landscape of operations management in K-12 and higher education. The Associate Vice President of Operations will actively and broadly converse with facilities managers and business services at other educational institutions and participate in the most relevant professional associations, regularly sharing and enacting with leadership and staff at Florida College the insights gained from these broader conversations, while maintaining commitment to Florida College’s mission and core values.

Florida College seeks a Chief Finance Officer (Vice President of Finance) to lead all aspects of the financial accounting, budgeting, processing, and financial strategic planning of the college, including oversight of K-12 schools run by the college.  Reporting to the president, the CFO is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and the Executive Council, collaboratively leading the current financial operations and future financial planning of the college, including investment and growth strategies for the security and capital assets of the college.  The CFO oversees a team of accountants responsible for the account receivables and payables of the institution, including monthly settlement of funds and regular reporting of income statements and balance sheets.  The CFO facilitates partnership with an external audit firm, assuring timely and healthy results. The CFO also leads timely and accurate financial reporting to internal departments and to external governmental and accrediting agencies in accord with required best practices for institutional accountability.

Florida College is seeking applicants for the position of Head Women’s Soccer Coach to provide development, leadership and supervision of a comprehensive and competitive Varsity Women’s Soccer program. This position reports to the Director of Soccer and is responsible for all activities of the Women’s Soccer program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and recruit prospective student-athletes through personal visits, telephone conversations, and mail solicitations. In partnership with the Office of Athletics and Director of Athletics serve as a spokesperson on Florida College Women’s Soccer related public discussion.
• Fundraising in coordination with the Director of Athletics and Office of Advancement. Works to incorporate strategies ensuring articulation of mission and help to ensure team relationships enhance our faith-based mission.
• Ensure compliance with institutional, conference and association rules and regulations. In partnership with Internal Operations, monitor eligibility of incoming and current student-athletes.
• Plan, develop, and run organized practice sessions and secure officials for home games. Work in conjunction with the Director of Athletics to develop game schedules, and plan major purchases; manage budget and secure travel arrangements including meals, lodging, and transportation in accordance with allowances; Select, purchase, and maintenance of all team equipment while adhering to athletic department and Florida College identity standards.
• Monitor student-athletes academic progress and implement strategies to ensure academic and athletic success; Ensure academic success of soccer student-athletes, student-athletes’ retention and graduation rates and GPA should be comparable to those of all Florida College students. Reinforce the Florida College culture by demonstrating sportsmanship, integrity, a competitive spirit, and the importance of academics.

• Soccer coaching experience
